FEE'S POLICY
Emerald Outside School Hours Care Service aims to provide a quality service to families at an affordable price. The Service relies on fees as it receives no funding. The Approved Provider, Harvest Community Ltd (HCLtd) will set fees based on the annual budget's required income for the provision of quality childcare.
Families must complete an Enrolment Form and indicate their care requirements. The days marked on the enrolment form are regarded as booked days. If your circumstances change and different care days are needed, a new enrolment form will be required. Please remember that the Service is licensed for 70 children.
Booked days must be paid for regardless of whether they are used or not. Parents need to notify the service by 12pm that day to cancel a booking for after school care or by 6pm the previous day to cancel a booking for before school care.
Absences can be either approved or allowable. Approved absences include: Public holidays, Non-immunization illness with a medical certificate (child, sibling or parent), Rostered days off, Rotating shift work, Periods of local emergency, Court ordered shared custody.
Payment of fees is required on a fortnightly basis. If financial difficulties arise, please speak to the Nominated Supervisor and Certified Supervisor on duty as soon as possible. Confidentiality will be assured.
